Olympia's Clown Alley, the Red Nose Brigade

Olympia's Clown Alley, the Red Nose Brigade is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of clowning through volunteer work and education. We currently have opportunities to apprentice with a clown and learn the deadly (funny) art of clown-fu. We will participate in approximately eleventy-twelve events this year including the Parades, Cotillions, Festivals, and Graduation Exercises.

Less than a Quorum

During last night's monthly membership meeting we realized that we've got to work on outreach more. 5 Clowns does not a quorum make, or so we thought at the time. We figured we needed 6 of the 11 full members in order to pass any motions. All sorts of chaos broke out. Well, 5 kinds of chaos broke out. The result, for me, is that I will again request from ALL the MEMBERS to e-mail me ASAP your best photos and bios and previously published materials/ logos/ etc.. in order that a) our web presence will reflect the whole organization [not just me, blogging away like mad] and more importantly b) I will be able to create a recruitment brochure to have available at events like the Relay for Life [where longer contact can be established as opposed to the parades] So... this entry will conclude with that request: Please e-mail me ASAP your best photos and bios and previoulsy publihsed materials/ logos/ etc.!!!

My Best Side

I photoshopped a Sumi brush filter onto the background.

A better look at the tailoring, but again before the final tweaks were made.  I'm looking forward to a more professional photo session in the near future as well as action shots in front of a live audience.

I'd like to thank the alley and my mother...

Here's the first time I wore the costume & make up together.  Nita has since added a red band around the hat brim.  I also photoshopped this for a zoom effect.

Notice the glitter, traditional hobo white around the lips, and eyebrows slightly lower than before.
